Mobilizing progressives and un-precedented change?

The president walked a line that is hard to parse but the two perspectives above might metric it. Inspiring the left and moving the moderates, I don't know if there is a precedence for a 14 to 20 per cent change in polls overnight. Of course there is precedence for news to leap on hypotheticals or rhetoricals anyway. The line was not exactly a leash but in line with our dog metaphor, the feat before us, and should tug at the character of our wagging or blue dogs. This is not our father's hush puppy or soul food.

[Now I will parse the irony. The two points are Occupy Wall Street and the National Defense Appropriations Act. (Rebranding a SALT or SLAT**) Actually only one of these last links was the trigger for this line of thought. My point is about the lines as we make them. We are an exceptional country that is at risk of being more like those in the past. Congress is responsible for drawing the lines, and the judiciary and executive are responsible for interpreting and navigating them. Sorry there is no punch line, but that is the dilemma. Re-leads* and typos.

but link of war to economy is key. Reform of system that puts investor profits and executive bailouts over failure of so-called free markets, may be a pincer attack that Obama and Clinton can perform on the trickle-down. Meanwhile as far as pressure to get out of Iraq, remembering who the commander-in-chief is, not that he should get his way, but his way of getting out may be hampered by who he and his crowd are. They could leave a disaster as bad as they believe it will be, because they can or rather because they are unwilling to do what might work. Putting the war on the books is a start. Air America's editorial or smoke and mirrors misses(scratch that) covers Un Herd of Change, which I just updated and unembed Ourfuture.org which had two reports highlighting the changes;

CNN and MyDD report 14 to 20 point leaps in approval(Obama on health care reform) respectively. Now is that unprecedented change?

The Victim Hood: Palin on rescuing the media, is now joined by Rep. Joe Wilson. Turn the other cheek becomes pass the other buck.
